I met felting in 1992 and since then it has become my passion. I live and work in Kecskemét with my family. In the beginning I made articles mostly for personal use like bags, purses and carpets. After a while I wished for more, so I started to experiment how to work with felt in 3D. That’s how I learned how to make statue-like feltplastics. This characterizes my works. The interesting thing about these plastics are that they are made of a single piece of felt, they aren’t sewn together. They are only sewn for decorating purposes. I am intrigued by the irregularities and freedom of felt both in shapes and colours. Colours can be mixed and washed into each other just like in aquarelles. The different coloured layers interweave each other and they create new colours around themselves. I like to make order from chaos and the feeling how the tangled fibres become tame and unified under my hands. I like to incorporate different materials in my works, rubbing them together to give a feeling as if they had always belonged together.
I am the member of the Hungarian Creative Artists Society (MAOE), the Art Society of Kecskemét (KKK), the Workshop Artistic Society (Kecskemét) and the X-group.
